Rep. Cotter Earns the Endorsement of the National Educational Association of Rhode Island

I'm incredibly honored to earn the endorsement of the National Education Association Rhode Island.

As the mom of three children who have grown up in our public schools, this endorsement means a great deal to me. Our teachers, school staff, and support professionals have been there for my family, just as they are for many District 39 families every single day.

​

I'm proud of the work we've done together to improve mental health supports for students, work towards strengthening indoor air quality in our schools, and keep fighting for the resources our classrooms deserve. When our students have safe, healthy places to learn and great educators who feel supported, our entire community benefits.

Public education shouldn't be a partisan issue. It's about giving every child the opportunity to succeed and making sure the people who dedicate their lives to our kids know they are valued.
